Blog Post #3

I think that this is an excellent way to describe the way I can become a strong influence on students in a number of ways.  Every day that I plan on teaching class and you feel like you’re doing a great job yet some students are struggling, I am still going to continue to do what I enjoy.  Sure, I may the only one in the room who actually cares about what may be going on, but that will not stop me from reaching my goals and becoming an excellent teacher.  If anything, the way that I see it, this can actually help me see where I want my career to be headed.  For a while I probably will feel like I am in the race alone and just going with the flow, but that may be all the edge that I need in order to accomplish my objectives as a teacher.

Jim,
Thank you for your thoughtful reflection. You have done a good job of describing how you might feel in the future. You have also done a good job of describing how you will deal with the challenges of teaching.
